NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An iconic liquor store in East Nashville was damaged in a fire Sunday night.
Crews were called to Weiss Liquors on Main Street around 7:30 p.m.
Fire investigation at Thompson Lane Krispy Kreme
When firefighters got the store, they located a small fire inside, according to the Nashville Fire Department.

The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
Investigators believe the cause of the fire was accidental after the failure of an HVAC unit.
Weiss Liquors was damaged in the March 2020 tornado , with the building standing strong but its iconic sign took a direct hit. After months of work, Weiss Liquor’s sign was restored in November 2020.
