Three Members of Drug Trafficking Organization Found with Over 400 Pounds of Meth in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN – According to a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee on Monday, January 29, 2024, in a collaborative effort between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, three individuals have been apprehended for their involvement in a conspiracy to distribute over 400 pounds of methamphetamine in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to the press release, the suspects, identified as Zachery Manier, 49, Danny Ray Jones, Jr., 48, and Reginald Levon Cooper, 40, are charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute over 500 grams of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.

The investigation unveiled that a targeted Drug Trafficking Organization (“DTO”) was exploiting the U.S. Postal Service to transport drugs to various locations in the Middle District of Tennessee.

On January 24, 2024, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a Nashville residence suspected to be a stash house for the DTO, leading to the seizure of over 400 pounds of methamphetamine.
