Good morning, friends, Tennessean columnist Brad Schmitt here, psyched to be on another food adventure. I’m joining food writer Mackensy Lunsford on mapping and visiting all the global food restaurants on Nolensville Pike, Murfreesboro Road and Thompson Lane. Ambitious, ain’t we?
And the good news for me and my newsroom friends — we get to hit up some restaurants together now and then. . This week’s outings included a stop at a Venezuelan spot on Nolensville Pike, close to I-440. More on that later.

But, man, can you spot the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile driving down the road and not smile? Yes, friends, it’s heading to Nashville. By the time you read this, the Wienermobile already will be here.
