NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Adoptable puppies will hit the field for an un-fur-gettable game in Nashville next weekend, featuring tail-wagging touchdowns, as well as the opportunity to find new homes for furry friends!

The Nashville Zoo said it is teaming up with the Nashville Humane Association (NHA) for the inaugural Music City Puppy Bowl, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the game kicking off at noon, on Sunday, Feb. 11 at Festival Field.

According to officials, attendees will be able to enjoy good music, learn more about the NHA, visit with local pet-friendly businesses, and “witness the cutest game in town!”

“Our two adorable teams will battle it out on the turf to see who reaches their end zone enough times to take home the 2024 trophy,” the Nashville Zoo said in a statement released on Friday, Feb. 2.

Not only will partners be on-site throughout the afternoon to talk about local pet-friendly activities, local adoption opportunities, and the importance of spaying and neutering, but guests will be able to meet the adoptable “athletes” and learn more about the other adoptable pets available at the NHA, organizers said.
