‘He died doing what he loved’: Smyrna man dies after motorcycle accident

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — The girlfriend of a motorcyclist who was killed Saturday in Murfreesboro said he “died doing what he loved.”

“To say he was the best man alive is an understatement,” Serena Adams said.

Murfreesboro police said 24-year-old Dylan Wilson died after he crashed into the back of a car.

“We always did this thing where I went like this, and he would hold up the other hand, and that was our little goodbye,” Adams.

Serena held up half a heart. She said that’s how she said goodbye to Dylan before he went on a motorcycle ride with his childhood friend Saturday afternoon.

However, after too much time had passed, Serena started to worry.

“Finally, I checked his location, and it was in the same exact spot so I immediately jumped in my car, and I flew as fast as I could,” Adams said.

Murfreesboro Police said Dylan and his friend crashed into the back of a Tesla on Northwest Broad Street. Dylan’s bike went off into a ditch and up in flames.
