The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is working to address 357 outstanding arrest warrants. These warrants were issued for individuals who did not appear in court for state law violation citations. The Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency issued these citations between August 1, 2023, and January 1, 2024. The MNPD’s Warrants Division is contacting these individuals, asking them to turn themselves in.

The arrest warrants have a $0 Release on Recognizance bond. This means that after booking, individuals will receive a new court date and be released. However, if these warrants are ignored, individuals could be arrested if stopped for unrelated traffic infractions and the warrant is found during a routine check.

The MNPD is sending letters to inform the individuals. These letters state that the Criminal Warrants Division, at 440 3rd Avenue North, is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Individuals must appear in person to address their warrants.
