NASHVILLE, Tenn. ( WKRN ) — A well-known real-estate entrepreneur is looking to build a future in Nashville where everyone has a place to call home.
When looking at Nashville’s skyline, it’s hard not to see the impact of Tony Giarratana.
“We always like to do things that push the envelope,” Giarratana said proudly at the beginning of an exclusive one-on-one interview with News 2’s Blake Eason .

The long-time real-estate entrepreneur said he’s had no problem being labeled opportunistic throughout the course of his career.
Giarratana said he’s been that way from the beginning, dating back to 1996 with the completion of Cumberland on Church, his first apartment building in downtown Nashville.
This was a time when downtown living wasn’t popular, but Giarratana had a different vision for what Church Street could be.
“I call it the street for locals because it always was the street for locals,” Giarratana said.
