NASHVILLE, Tenn. ( WKRN ) – The Grammys have already come and gone, but the impact is still being felt in Middle Tennessee.
Two students from Tennessee State University (TSU) were selected to attend music’s biggest night — all expenses paid.
Grammy Awards 2024: MTSU alumni win big across genres
The invitation was made possible by the Quinn Coleman Scholarship and the Recording Academy.
Out of five recipients for the prestigious award, two were selected from TSU, Emmanuel Strickland and Dilan Hoskins.
Each student had the chance to walk the red carpets, network with industry executives, and attend the 66 th Grammy awards.

Strickland, whose stage name is Milly Manny, told News 2 this was just the inspiration he needed.
“It was inspiring beyond measures, because it’s like, you’re seeing it from the outside looking in, essentially, and for me, it just gave me hope and a realization that I’m going to be on the stage one day holding a Grammy,” said Strickland. ” Just seeing it in person really just motivated me.”
