Harbor Freight Tools, currently has over and over 1400 locations nationally. The California-based discount tool retailer has plans for a new location in Tennessee. A company press release from February 6, announced that the new store is being built in Ashland City. This is from the press release:
Construction has already begun at the location, using local workers and companies from the surrounding Ashland City area.
The store will be located at 270 Hutton Place, Ashland City, which is located about 20 miles to the west and slightly north of Nashville. It is expected that the new store will bring between 25-30 new jobs to the area. The company expects the grand opening to happen sometime this spring. Harbor Freight has over 40 locations in the state.
