‘I hope it’s Hell for them in there’: Family reacts to verdict in Cobra Bar murders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nearly six years later and the families of two friends murdered outside of the Cobra Bar in East Nashville have closure.

On Monday, Feb. 12, the second suspect involved in the 2018 double murder was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for both deaths .

“They didn’t give our children a chance,” Teresa Teal explained outside the courtroom after the verdict.

The beginning hours of Teresa and Bartley’s son Brandon Teal’s 33rd birthday came to a brutal, heartbreaking end with four friends robbed at gun point, two of the women assaulted, and then Brandon and Jaime Sarrantonio were shot and killed.

“He literally executed them. He shot my child within moments of stepping out of a car and didn’t even give him a chance,” stated Teresa.

Surveillance video captured the chilling moments outside of the Cobra Bar in East Nashville , evidence that will forever haunt these mourning families and the survivors.
