HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) — By October, a Hermitage golf driving range may be replaced by a gas station.
The Hermitage Golf Learning Center has been owned and operated by Steven Cisco and his wife, Sandy Cisco, for the last 23 years. However, a rezoning plan may cut their time on the property short.
“Wawa started the conversation with the property owner, and the property owner had a representative from a local engineering firm that represents them reach out to me back in November,” explained Metro Councilmember Jordan Huffman from District 14.
The all-grass Hermitage Golf Learning Center currently sits on the corner of Andrew Jackson Parkway and Old Hickory Boulevard. Wawa, a convenience store and gas station , wants to build on that corner.
