Then 49-year-old Roger Kay Liles seemingly woke up at his apartment at 547 Cedar Lane on May 5, 1992. His physical therapist called him that morning to tell him their appointment had been changed, but when Liles left home that day, he did so in an unusual fashion.

Now, over three decades later, there still has been no sign of Liles.

On May 11, 1992, his friends went to his home to investigate and found a clean apartment with no signs of a struggle. His car was still parked in the driveway with the keys locked inside. However, one important thing was missing from Liles’ home: his dog.
