Last of several MS-13 members that committed multiple crimes in Middle TN sentenced, per DOJ

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The final defendant in a case involving 18 MS-13 gang members was sentenced on Thursday, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

That investigation involved charges that included, but were not limited to:

  • Racketeering conspiracy
  • Murder in aid of racketeering
  • Attempted murder in aid of racketeering
  • Kidnapping
  • Drug trafficking
  • Obstruction of justice
  • Destruction of evidence
  • and multiple firearms offenses

All of the defendants were members of the Thompson Place Locos Salvatrucha clique that operated in Nashville, according to court documents. They had been involved with MS-13 since at least 2014.

In 2016, defendants involved with this case were convicted of luring an unnamed victim into a field before fatally shooting him. During that same year, the DOJ added that defendants were also charged in relation to a fatal shooting outside a Nashville nightclub.

In 2017, defendants with this case chased an unnamed victim in a car before shooting them multiple times. In separate incidents later that year, they conspired to murder rival drug dealers and took part in multiple shootings outside nightclubs.
