Metro police searching for suspect involved in slashing on Charlotte Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro Nashville police are searching for a suspect involved in a slashing on Charlotte Pike Wednesday.

According to a spokesperson for the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), a safety manager for the Lowe’s on Charlotte Pike was walking outside when he noticed a man standing near the building.

That man then ran toward the manager, who pushed the man away. That’s when authorities said the man turned and slashed the top left part of the manager’s forearm.

The manager told authorities the suspect’s left arm was broken during the altercation. MNPD described the suspect as a white man between 40 and 50 years old with a slim build, shaggy, wavy, gray hair and short facial hair.

The suspect is about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and was wearing a white t-shirt and black or dark blue pants with black boots. The suspect’s knife was recovered at the scene and the manager declined treatment.
