A plush Brentwood estate with ties to country artist Kenny Chesney will go up for auction later this month.

The luxurious home sits on just over seven acres of land and features a small guest cabin originally built as a songwriting retreat for Chesney when he owned the property. The home was previously listed for $10.5 million and the bidding will start at $3.5 million.

Previews of the estate begin Friday, Aug. 16 and the online auction will start at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Interluxe Auctions is facilitating the sale.

Chesney owned the property, with the cabin, a brick home and five acres of adjoining land before the upscale home was built there in 2018, according to Stacy Virk, vice president of Interluxe Auctions. The property’s current owner subdivided the land after purchasing it from Chesney and built the sprawling modern house currently up for sale.

The five-bedroom home was built in 2018 and features six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. An expansive formal living room with a grand stone fireplace overlooks the property’s 1.75-acre pond with floor-to-ceiling windows. The entertainment and amenity lineup in the home includes an indoor golf simulator, movie theater, home gym and spa-quality bathroom fixtures.
