NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Metro Nashville school was placed on lockdown after staff was informed that a student brought a gun on campus Friday morning. Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were dispatched to Hillsboro High School for reports of a gun at the school. Administrators at the school had already located the student and found the gun during a search in the office, according to a spokesperson for Metro Nashville Public Schools.
