NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A man is jailed for the attempted armed robbery of an elderly woman and the armed robbery of a female college student. Metro Nashville police said 42-year-old Marquis Douglas attempted to rob an 89-year-old woman at her car at a crowded Richland Park Farmers Market on Sunday. He had a pistol showing from his waistband as he asked for her purse.
