NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Vanderbilt student was robbed near campus on Saturday morning. Police arrested 42-year-old Marquis Douglas in connection to the incident. The Vanderbilt student told police, that Douglas approached her from behind, put a gun to her back, and said, ‘Drop everything you have and give me your purse.’ The student told police she gave Douglas $70 and ran away.
