Storytellers prepare to share their personal journeys before a live audience in Nashville

Editor’s note: A version of this column below originally published in the weekly Latino Tennessee Voices newsletter , which was sent out to subscribers by email earlier on Wednesday.

The day has finally arrived. Tonight The Tennessean presents Latino Tennessee Voices Storytellers Live at Trevecca Nazarene University near downtown Nashville. This is our third year doing this show, and I am grateful to our storytellers, our host, our sponsors and my colleagues who have worked to make this happen.

These are the storytellers:

  • Stephanie Amador, photographer for The Tennessean
  • Jacob Aparicio, communications director at Tennessee Human Rights Commission
  • Viridiana de León, founder of Nash Latina Bosses
  • Diego Eguiarte, founder and CEO of Nuestro Financial
  • Sandra Sepúlveda, the first Latina on the Metro Council of Nashville-Davidson County

The theme is “Finding One’s Purpose in the Midst of Adversity.”

Storytellers have been working hard to share from their hearts
