Arson suspect identified after allegedly starting fire inside Rippy’s Honky Tonk

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The suspect in a restroom fire inside a downtown Nashville restaurant was identified and a warrant has been sworn out for his arrest on Wednesday. The Nashville Fire Department has been working to identify the man captured in security camera footage from Rippy’s Honky Tonk on Broadway, showing him exit a restroom on the first floor. Smoke began billowing from the restroom moments later and employees quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher to put it out before it could spread, according to Nashville Fire.
