NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three teenage robbery suspects were taken into custody Friday night after Nashville detectives reportedly spotted them in a stolen car.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the Chevrolet Camaro had been taken during an early morning carjacking on Friday, Nov. 1 outside of a convenience store in the 15100 block of Old Hickory Boulevard.

Before authorities tried to stop the vehicle, the driver allegedly pulled into an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Linbar Drive, where two men were robbed at gunpoint.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes division successfully deployed spike strips, officials said. Then, an MNPD helicopter followed the fleeing Camaro until the three teens bailed from the car.
Not only did law enforcement arrest all three suspects, but they also recovered a handgun.
Police said the two 17-year-olds and the 16-year-old are each charged in Juvenile Court with aggravated robbery.
