On Sunday, officers were doing surveillance in the parking lot of Bucanas Nightclub when they reportedly saw Pena engage in what they believed to be a drug deal, according to court documents.

The officers said they followed his vehicle out of the parking lot onto Nolensville Pike, where Pena drove at speeds over 80 mph, swerved in the lanes of oncoming traffic and passed through red lights.
