The warrant states Kodjo assisted James Briggs in illegally entering the apartment armed with a handgun on July 25. According to police, Briggs removed the victim’s air conditioning unit from the window and began shooting inside the home. However, he reportedly realized he was in the “wrong house,” and told Kodjo the same before fleeing the apartment.
There were children inside the home, which a victim told Briggs, per the affidavit.
According to the warrant, video captured Kodjo helping Briggs enter the apartment while an unidentified male stood by.
