TBI confirms search of former Nashville police lieutenant’s home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) confirmed that agents executed a search warrant at an address owned by a former Nashville police lieutenant who has faced scrutiny in relation to an ongoing investigation.

A spokesperson for the TBI said that agents executed the warrant on Sept. 17 at a Portland, Tennessee address, which property records showed to be connected with Garet Davidson.

A June court filing suggested that Davidson could be tied to the leak of The Covenant School killer’s writings. Davidson was the only person at the time who had the key and combination to the locked safe, according to the filing.
