Woman seriously injured after shooting at White Bluff home

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in the White Bluff neighborhood of Dickson County early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened around 5 a.m. at a home on Violet Mist Road.

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.

The man suspected of shooting the woman was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Cheatham County, according to officials.

No additional information was immediately released.
