Georgia Bulldogs are trying to steal a key 4-star commit from the Tennessee Vols

The Georgia Bulldogs are reportedly trying to swipe a key four-star commit from the Tennessee Vols.

According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong , Georgia is still trying to “chip away” at four-star Vols linebacker commit Christian Gass.

Gass, 6-foot-3/215 lbs from Covington, GA, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 22 linebacker in the nation and the No. 30 player in the state of Georgia. He’s been committed to Tennessee since July.

The talented linebacker was in Athens last month for Georgia’s win against Tennessee.

Gass, who returned to Knoxville for the Vols’ win against UTEP in late November, told GoVols247 after his visit to Athens that he’s “locked in” with Tennessee.

It feels like the Vols should be able to hang on to Gass, but you can never count the Bulldogs out — especially when it involves a recruit from Georgia.

The early signing period gets underway on December 4. It will run until December 6.
