As the manager was closing the eatery, an armed suspect reportedly entered the building and assaulted the victim before stealing money from the store.

Deputies said after the robbery, the suspect forced the employee into a vehicle, which was occupied by the three other individuals. While inside the vehicle, the victim was further assaulted and threatened before being dropped off in a nearby neighborhood.

The WCSO reported the victim sustained injuries that required medical attention, but were not life-threatening.
