Lamberth, Garrett reelected to top House leadership positions

Two Sumner County lawmakers have been reelected by their peers to serve in top leadership positions for the Tennessee House of Representatives. State Rep. William Lamberth, R-Portland, will serve as majority leader and State Rep. Johnny Garrett, R-Goodlettsville, will serve as majority whip for the 114th Tennessee General Assembly. Lamberth and Garrett were reelected unanimously to a fourth term of their respective leadership positions during the House Republican Caucus election on Nov. 26.
