Man arrested for firing gun near walking trail in Long Hunter State Park

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 24-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he was seen firing a gun near a trailhead inside Long Hunter State Park on Tuesday. According to an arrest affidavit from the Metro Nashville Police Department, two people were walking on the Volunteer Trail on December 31 when they witnessed Marcus Moore shooting a pistol approximately 50 feet away, so they called 911.
