Lawmakers discuss expansion of America’s passenger rail network, feasibility for building rail line from Memphis to Atlanta

WASHINGTON D.C. (WMC) – Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen discussed railroad priorities in Washington D.C. at a hearing on the country’s passenger and freight rail network on Thursday.

Congressman Cohen talked about the ongoing study to create a passenger rail corridor between Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Atlanta, authorized by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
