Tennessee Flood Watch: Up to 5 Inches of Rain Expected Through Late Saturday

Nashville, TN – A Flood Watch has been issued for Middle Tennessee from late Friday night through late Saturday night, as heavy rainfall is expected to bring significant flooding risks to the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, widespread rainfall between 2 to 5 inches is forecast across the area, with locally higher amounts possible in some locations. Excessive runoff may lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and urban areas prone to poor drainage.
