NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A specialized street sweeper has quickly gained popularity, and intrigue, among Nashvillians.
Named in a Metro-wide voting contest, ‘Demonbroomin’ is a play on how tourists often mispronounce Demonbreun Street.
With a catchy name and a distinct purpose — cleaning Nashville’s growing stretch of bike lanes— the snazzy sweeper quickly brushed its way into cyclists’ hearts when it debuted in 2022.

“Growing up here myself, I enjoyed riding my bicycle through Nashville,” Demonbroomin’s driver Korey Crow said. “We never had this type of stuff growing up. It was kinda look both ways and pray for the best….Me doing something for people that I wish would have been done for me when I was younger means a lot.
