KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – After months of uncertainty, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are back on Earth after an extended stay in space.
Wilmore, a University of Tennessee and Tennessee Tech graduate and Mt. Juliet native, was slated to be in space for eight days, but it turned out to be more than nine months.
While his family in Texas anxiously awaited updates on when their husband and father would return home, they were able to talk to him during daily video calls…
