Nashville Detectives Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspects in Mapco Gas Station Burglaries

Nashville police are on the hunt for a group of brazen suspects linked to a series of burglaries aimed at a local Mapco gas station. The detectives from the Burglary Unit have turned their attention to surveillance footage showing the individuals involved in two separate incidents at the establishment located at 2115 21st Avenue South, where they were seen burglarizing the store and making off with substantial quantities of tobacco products.

According to a report released by the Nashville Police Department, the first burglary occurred early in the morning last Thursday at around 4 a.m. when the suspects, using a brick to shatter the glass entrance, entered the store like an uninvited shadow and gathered more than 200 packs of cigarettes behind the counter. In a similar vein, this same methodology was employed last Tuesday by at least one of the suspects believed to be involved in the initial theft, pilfering another 200 cigarette packs.

Images from the store’s surveillance system show the suspects amidst their illicit activity, providing law enforcement with potential leads. The detectives, actively piecing together this puzzle, have released these images in a bid to solicit public assistance in pinpointing the identities of those responsible for these burglaries…
