Storm shelters open across the Midstate ahead of severe storms

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Storm shelters across the Midstate are opening ahead of severe weather expected to move through the region Sunday night.

WSMV’s First Alert Weather team said strong to severe thunderstorms are likely to develop and move through then, in some cases producing damaging wind gusts, 1″ diameter hail, and possibly an isolated tornado.

Because of these possibly severe storms, shelters in multiple Midstate Counties are opening for those in need…
