KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Music lovers, both industry professionals and fans, wrapped up Tennessee Songwriters’ Week 2025 with a showcase of the seven finalists at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on Sunday night.
Three of those seven call East Tennessee home. For Sarrenna, a Knoxville native, the competition has been an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. The lifelong singer was a member of the local band “Guy Marshall” for a decade. Branching out on her own has given her a chance to share her perspective through her songs while also relearning how to play the guitar. It’s required dedication, but every challenge has been an opportunity for her to connect with her audience.
