NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Belmont University student passed away following a heart procedure over the weekend, according to an announcement by the school.
Junior Kayley Tigges underwent heart surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center before she passed on Saturday morning. The 21-year-old was born with a condition known as Loeys-Dietz syndrome.
