NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Antioch community came together on Sunday to hold a baby shower for the mother of Josselin Corea Escalante, who was killed in the shooting at Antioch High School in January.
The community celebrated Josselin Janeth Escalante Vega’s soon-to-be new addition to the family while also making sure to honor the one they lost.
“It was really emotional. All her family and some community joined, and mom had a break down when a guest brought in a picture of Dayana (Josselin Escalante), the teen who was shot at Antioch High School, but was able to shake it off and enjoy a lil bit of the celebration,” organizer Sandra Nallely Hernandez said…
