Cheatham County deputies catch wanted man hiding in abandoned house

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Cheatham County authorities, working with concerned community members, took a wanted man into custody Thursday.

The manhunt for the convicted felon, David Thomas Watson Jr., began in earnest on Thursday, April 10. That’s when a tip filtered in to Patrol Lt. Shane Dunning of the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, Watson was wanted for failure to appear and suspicion of burglary in both Cheatham and Robertson counties.
