Man killed in gas station shooting, suspect sought

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Nashville Police are searching for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting early Saturday morning.

Michael Robinson, 37, of Memphis, was fatally shot while sitting in a white Jeep at the gas pumps outside the Honey Suckle Market on Lafayette Street.

According to Homicide Unit detectives, a group of men near a white Chevrolet Malibu had a brief verbal exchange with the Jeep’s driver. As the Jeep began to pull away, one of the men—seen in surveillance footage wearing a shirt with visible wording and smoking a cigarette—opened fire…
