Former foster youth inspires new Tennessee law

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Two new bills passed unanimously this week aim to improve life for Tennessee’s foster youth—especially those aging out of the system without family support.

One of the driving forces is 19-year-old Ella Brinen, who recently aged out of foster care and spent the past year creating the Foster Youth Bill of Rights.
