Lulu Roman, a longtime Mt. Juliet resident who was a gospel singer and cast member of the long-running country music show “Hee Haw” on CBS, has died, She was 78.
Roman died April 23 in Bellingham, Washington, where she had moved in 2024 to be closer to her son, Damon. She had lived in Wilson County for more than 30 years.
