Man robbed woman at gunpoint, fled into river, Nashville police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is now in custody after allegedly robbing a woman at gunpoint and fleeing from officers into the Stones River, according to Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson Don Aaron.

Aaron said the incident began just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday when a woman in the Marshall’s parking lot at 3135 Lebanon Pike was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.
