Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down I-24 West for Hours Early Friday
ROBERTSON/CHEATHAM COUNTY TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – A five-vehicle crash on I-24 West claimed one life and critically injured another early Friday morning.
According to Fire Marshal Ricky Read with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, the crash occurred near mile marker 28 on the westbound side of the interstate. LOCATION OF CRASH Upon arrival, first responders found five vehicles involved, including two pickup trucks (one towing a trailer loaded with two mopeds) and three passenger vehicles, the first call coming into 911 at 12:50 a.m. Two of the vehicles had left the roadway and came to rest in the median.
