NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Changes are on the horizon for parts of Nashville as new bike lanes are set to be implemented, a project initially approved before the pandemic.
The initiative, which may surprise some residents, was greenlit in 2018 and has seen delays due to construction cost changes over the years.
The new bike lanes will be separated from car lanes by a curb or barrier. One lane will be located downtown on Union Street for a block, while others will be in East Nashville on Woodland Street from 1st Avenue North to South 11th Street, South 5th Street from Woodland to Davidson Street and South 10th Street from Woodland Street to Sevier Street…
