Metro Nashville Police are investigating a self-defense claim in a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
Investigators say that around 1:50 a.m., the victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, began persistently knocking on the door of an apartment on Tampa Drive and asking to speak with a woman inside.
