First Alert Forecast: Wet weather for the next few days

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A few scattered rain showers for Mother’s Day, but not everyone will get wet today.

Early morning rain will clear out for a while, with a mix of sun and clouds for the first half of our day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. Later in the day, some isolated showers and storms will pop-up around the Midstate, but they will be very sporadic and some areas will stay dry all day.

Rain chances increase for Monday. We’ll see widespread showers and thunderstorms, but no severe weather is expected. Rain will clear out overnight, starting off with a dry Tuesday before more showers and storms develop throughout the afternoon. Both days will feature highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s…
