Nashville elementary school evacuated after reported roof fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Public Schools reports that one of its elementary schools was evacuated on Monday after a fire sparked on the roof.

MNPS confirmed that the students and staff of Percy Priest Elementary School were evacuated after a power line or pole fell onto the roof and sparked a flame.
