NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery-related shooting that left a man seriously injured outside a gas station on Gallatin Pike last week.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, officers responded to a call from a gas station in the 1100 block of Gallatin Pike at about 11 p.m. last Thursday. When they arrived, they found a 45-year-old man with a “serious” gunshot wound to the upper arm; authorities on the scene applied a tourniquet and packed the wound to stop the bleeding.
During an interview with MNPD detectives in the Non-Lethal Shooting Unit, 27-year-old Jalan Armstrong allegedly admitted to the robbery. Armstrong reportedly told police that the victim owed him money and that the victim was shot after he struggled with Armstrong for the gun.
