Man found guilty on charges related to deadly 2021 shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was found guilty on charges related to a 2021 shooting death in West Nashville, according to the Office of the District Attorney General of Nashville.

Lenoris Johnson, 35, was convicted on five counts related to the fatal shooting of Quiondre Charles Benson on Wednesday.

Johnson’s charges included:

  • First-degree felony murder
  • Aggravated assault resulting in death (down from first-degree premeditated murder)
  • Especially aggravated burglary
  • Employing a firearm during the commission of a felony
  • Aggravated bodily injury resulting in serious bodily injury
